The PAL adapter's superior aluminum and stainless-steel construction allows for longevity unlike plastic housing alternatives. The locking mechanism when inserting into the handpiece is a secure connection and easily disconnects. Lastly, this PAL adapter can be autoclaved and cleaned easily due to the smooth compact design of the housing.
The PAL adapter’s aluminum housing is anodized black giving it a sleek look, while the Luer-Lock hub connecting the cannula is stainless steel with a large 3.8mm orifice. This PAL adapter weighs less than an ounce, while being compatible with all Luer-Lock hubs.
Maintaining the PAL adapter is easy. Use sterile mineral oil or instrument milk for lubrication. Where this item is inserted into the hand-piece, it should be treated like an orthopedic instrument.
